Nantong hi-tech development zone still open for public services
The novel coronavirus outbreak brought great challenges to Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone in Nantong, Jiangsu province, at the start of 2020.
All-round services have continued to be offered in the zone as epidemic controls have been put in place. The government affairs service center, as an often crowded public place, is a key area that calls for great epidemic prevention efforts.
To ensure the safety of people's health, apart from the necessary physical examinations and approval measures, many public services have been offered online.
Introduction of "online office"
All applications fulfilling online business requirements will be handled online. Details about online work flow and business consultation by telephone will be publicized, making government services available online "for applications that arrive by email or by express delivery". Additionally, the service center has arranged service windows to allow people to make phone calls and receive online consultations, facilitating enterprises and local residents to solve difficulties and problems online.
Launch of "post office"
For businesses that do not offer online processing, it is suggested they send documents by express delivery and the service center will guide them in how to prepare further paperwork by telephone, WeChat, QQ or email. The center will first review the scanned copies of materials to ensure their accuracy then complete the approval procedures.
"Appointment in advance" service for special business applications
Enterprises that have to go to the center to do business can make appointments in advance. The staff at the center will send the materials to the government affairs service center and take a temperature measurement. The business personnel will receive the materials at the entrance to the center.
The service center in the hi-tech development zone will build bridges for enterprises by providing business consultation and guidance for key projects and investment attraction projects.
