Nantong gives full support to enterprises amid epidemic
The finance bureau of the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone has implemented regulations from senior governments to help enterprises in the zone resume production.
The measures included dividing the bureau's staff into four groups, quickly establishing contact with 20 enterprises and giving them support to overcome the problems and difficulties they face due to the novel coronavirus outbreak. While doing a great job in epidemic prevention and control, the high-tech development zone is also promoting enterprises to resume production.
Despite the cold winter weather, the finance bureau stationed its service personnel in the first line of service.
"We should focus on assisting the enterprises putting in place prevention and control measures, such as taking employees' temperatures as they enter factories, ordering meals, disinfecting and cleaning, implementing the enterprises' main responsibility, and supervising workstations," said Wu Xuehua, director of the finance bureau's efforts to implement these arrangements.
Tri Star Group, located in the high-tech development zone, has a large number of staff members, so staff dining and accommodation are difficult. Industry and trade department officials have visited the company to remind it to pay attention to details in handling current problems. The finance bureau went deep into every company, from workshops to offices, from staff canteens to dormitories, to carry out on-site inspections and help enterprises build "red lines of prevention".
The finance bureau's prevention and control work team has helped companies to solve deficiencies in epidemic prevention, help them manage return of personnel, strictly screen employees' physical condition, and carry out the quarantine requirements of the Nantong government, to ensure companies in the zone resume work smoothly.
To minimize losses caused by the epidemic, members of the finance bureau are trying their best to promote the rapid resumption of business and production, and promptly convey relevant policy information to enterprises. Bureau personnel stationed at companies will supervise the whole process of employees returning to work, ensuring employees' register, have their temperatures measured and get disinfected when entering factories. Single table dining is required in canteens to ensure a safe and healthy dining environment.
