Haimen ranks 24th among China's top 100 industrial districts
The 2020 China County Industrial Economic Development Forum, sponsored by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), was held in Jiangyin, a county-level city administered by Wuxi in East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 13.
The lists of China's top 100 industrial counties and cities, top 100 innovative counties and cities, as well as top 100 industrial districts, were announced at the forum. Nantong includes Haimen and Tongzhou districts, which rank 24th and 36th respectively.
Founded in 1957, the CAICT is a scientific research institute directly under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). With the guidance of the MIIT and relying on big data, the CAICT conducts an empirical analysis and comparative study on the competitiveness of the counties' industrial economic development in China, selecting the top 100.
The highly professional, authoritative and valuable list has been released for six years.
