Gangzha Economic Development Zone high-tech firm ups output

One high-tech company is proving to be a star in ramping up production at its plant in the Gangzha Economic Development Zone or GZEDZ – located in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province.

Founded in 2005, Nantong NTEC Monofilament Technology Co Ltd is a national high-tech enterprise that is on the rise – focusing on research and development, production and sales of various kinds of large-diameter polymer monofilaments.

NTEC's main products include large-diameter monofilaments made from polyester, polyamide and polyolefin. It makes functional fibers featuring high-temperature resistance and wear resistance, special monofilaments like fishing lines, tennis strings and trimmer lines. [Photo/Nantong Daily]

NTEC's products are widely used in the fields of safety protection, structural enhancement, environmental protection filtrations, healthcare, communications equipment, new energy and 3D printing.

In August 2021, the company won the prized honorary title "little giant" enterprise. This appellation is awarded to outstanding high-tech small and medium-sized businesses with high growth potential, advanced technology and a strong competitive edge.
