The 300,000th liquid tank and the 15,000th gas tank produced by CIMC Safeway Technologies Co Ltd came off the production line on May 3 – marking a milestone in the development of the group.

Located in the Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone – under the jurisdiction of the Chongchuan district of Nantong city, in East China's Jiangsu province, the company, formerly known as Nantong CIMC TANK Equipment Co Ltd, greeted its 20th anniversary in April.

Having gone from strength to strength in Nantong for two decades, CIMC Safeway has grown into a global leader in the research, development and manufacturing of chemical logistics equipment and in the provision of systematic solutions.

"During the past 20 years, our production capacity and annual output has increased year by year," said general manager Ji Guixiang, adding that the annual production capacity had increased tenfold to over 30,000 tanks now.

"Through continuous independent technology research and innovation, we have turned into the world's only enterprise covering the full range, with an entire life cycle of tanks and containers," Ji added.
