An industrial development summit on new energy and intelligent manufacturing, co-sponsored by Chongchuan district Party committee and government and undertaken by Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone (GZEDZ), was held at the Tian An Cyber Park on Nov 30.

As an important sub-event of the 2021 Collective Wisdom Chongchuan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Summit, it focuses on the introduction of leading technology talents, innovative teams and projects, and aims to promote the deep integration of industry, university and research, and provide strong support for industrial transformation and fostering strategic emerging industries and high-tech industries.

In recent years, Chongchuan district has been targeted at building a "high-end industrial city" and a "innovative dynamic city", attracted a number of renowned domestic and foreign companies to settle there.

Located in northern Chongchuan, GZEDZ is a highland of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries in the main urban area, being one of the 15 provincial parks to be developed as a key along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu.

Adhering to the dual-wheel driven development strategy which centers on advanced manufacturing and modern service, the zone is home to a slew of intelligent manufacturing enterprises represented by Guosheng Intelligence, and the general and special equipment manufacturers such as CIMC and Dapeng Laser.

GZEDZ will seize the opportunities brought about by the summit, focus on industry development and innovation, devote more efforts to attracting investment and promoting companies' upgrading.
