Chongchuan govt departments work together on project
A delegation consisting of Party member representatives from the industry and information technology bureau, the development and reform commission, the administrative approval bureau, and other related departments of Chongchuan district in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, visited the intelligent plant invested and constructed by Dasheng Group on Sept 15.
In response to problems facing the construction of the project, officials provided targeted answers and presentations of policies.
In 2015, the Chongchuan-based Dasheng Group set up the first digital spinning workshop in China, acting as a model for intelligent transformation and upgrading in the domestic textile industry.
In May 2020, the group started construction on the country's first smart spinnery covering an area of more than 30 mu (2 hectares). The spinnery will decrease the labor force and increase production capacity by 30 percent with the help of 5G and internet of things technologies.
To solve employment problems, an official from the Chongchuan district human resources and social security bureau said that they will take advantage of the district's online recruitment platform, the provincial human resources platform, and the substantive human resources market to unblock online and offline recruitment channels for enterprises.
Representatives from other departments also stated that they will focus on existing problems and immediately discuss and solve problems through the chief service officer system to ensure smooth progress on the plant.
