Bank-business matchmaking meeting held in GZEDZ
In a bid to provide more support for the development of its substantial economy, the Nantong Gangzha Economic Development Zone, or GZEDZ – located in the Chongchuan district of Nantong city in East China's Jiangsu province – hosted a bank-enterprise matchmaking meeting on March 18.
The event was aimed at offering a platform to businesses and financial institutions to conduct face-to-face talks and help the companies to resolve their funding problem.
GZEDZ Party working committee member Qian Haojie attended and delivered a keynote speech in which he advocated that financial institutions should give full play to their role in the process of promoting the high-quality development of the zone's economy, providing full support for the enterprises.
Furthermore, the economic development administration under the jurisdiction of the GZEDZ should act as a liaison and an actuator when advancing matchmaking between banks and enterprises, Qian added.
During the meeting, representatives from the Industrial Bank, China Merchants Bank and other banks gave detailed presentations on their financial products targeting small and medium-sized enterprises, afterwards answering questions from the participants.
