Chindata Group started the construction of the data center in June 2019 in East China's Nantong. So far, the civil construction of Data Center-1 has been completed, and major mechanical and electrical equipment will be installed soon. Data Center-1 is planned to be operating in the first quarter of 2021.

According to Microsoft representatives, the company has already provided diversified cloud computing products for China, such as private, public and hybrid clouds. Microsoft chose to develop Microsoft Azure in the area to support the arrangement of Yangtze River Delta region businesses and further access to South China.

Cloud computing industry has become the sound foundation and the driving force for global economy development in recent years. Microsoft as a world-class technology company takes cloud computing as its main business, which gains the world's second market share.
