Chongchuan sees rapid development of high-tech industry in Q1
In recent years, Chongchuan district in Nantong, Jiangsu province, has been actively implementing an innovation-driven development strategy, focusing on nurturing high-tech industries.
In the first quarter, the district was home to a total of 183 high-tech enterprises, 20 more than the same period last year. These enterprises achieved an output value of 18.58 billion yuan ($2.56 billion), accounting for 62.44 percent of the district's total industrial output value, which is above the citywide average.
One prominent high-tech company in Chongchuan is Jiangsu Jingyuan Environmental Protection Co Ltd. In the first quarter, the company saw an increase in output value exceeding 100 million yuan and secured more than 150 million yuan in new orders.
The company also launched a new generation of integrated superconducting magnetic coagulation devices. These devices significantly improve processing efficiency compared to traditional magnetic coagulation devices on the market, showcasing the company's leading position in environmental protection technology.
Ji Xianhua, deputy general manager of Jingyuan Environmental, stated, "These devices can reduce the amount of chemicals needed and lower operational costs compared to traditional technology, which will bring in over 100 million yuan in revenue growth for the company."
