Students seal the deal with enterprises at CCEDZ job fair
The Chongchuan Economic Development Zone and Nantong Vocational University jointly hosted an employment matching event at the Nantong Digital Transportation Industry Park on May 8.
The event was conducted in a dual selection format, featuring key enterprises, listed companies, industry leaders, and newly recruited tech companies from the city.
Nearly 100 students from Nantong Vocational University signed internship agreements with the first batch of 20 quality enterprises from the zone.
This event is part of CCEDZ's efforts to promote the high-quality development of enterprises.
As the main economic hub of Chongchuan district, Nantong, Jiangsu province, the zone is home to over 7,000 enterprises, including 330 above-scale enterprises, four listed companies, 20 provincial-level specialized and innovative enterprises, and 119 national high-tech enterprises.
However, rapid economic growth has led to recruitment challenges, which comprise a significant obstacle for companies aiming to expand. To address this issue, CCEDZ has actively explored a school-government-enterprise cooperation model.
This event strengthened cooperation by establishing an internship matching platform where companies can provide internship opportunities, incentivizing more college students to start careers in Nantong.
