【Dynamic Decade】Chongchuan makes strides in economic development

The Chongchuan Economic Development Zone in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province has over the past decade made remarkable achievements in its economic development, city construction and renovation, and improvement of people's well-being.
The zone has established a science and technology town and a cybersecurity industrial park to bolster the development of its pillar industries, including automotive electronics, healthcare, integrated circuit and consumer internet.
The town is presently home to more than 240 scientific enterprises with investments totaling 41 billion yuan ($6 billion).
Over 200 firms have established presences in the cybersecurity industrial park, which is home to mainly cloud computing, software, hardware and information technology safety enterprises. Among these companies is Global Technology Co Ltd, a leading player in the fields of algorithm development, solenoid valve development, vehicle dynamics power matching and demarcation.
The zone has also made significant progress in the renovation of old residential communities and the provision of temporary residences for the disadvantaged.
Authorities have taken steps to improve the environment of the Tangzha ancient town and turn it into a national 3A scenic spot that offers services such as cultural tourism, accommodation and catering.
In addition, authorities have been making efforts to improve people's well-being over the past years by introducing high quality elderly care services.
