The Chongchuan Economic Development Zone (CCEDZ) in Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province promoted its cultural and tourism industry on the sidelines of 2022 Chongqing International Cultural and Tourism Consumption Festival on July 1.
The zone has been making efforts in recent years to develop its cultural and tourism industry under the guidelines of integrating culture, ecology and leisure, providing immersive travel experience for tourists all year round.
CCEDZ is focusing mass resources on holding a series of activities to boost night-time travel, such as recreational events, delicacies savoring and trendy items shopping.
The zone also rolled out one-card service to make visitors tour the city more easily, according to authorities.
Cheng Yuanyuan, deputy director of the CCEDZ, said that the zone has a long history which had established the first National Normal School and the first national private museum and now it is leveraging the strategic opportunities including the Yangtze River Economic Belt to improve its comprehensive strength.
