Tongfu Microelectronics Co Ltd, located in the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone in Chongchuan district of Nantong in East China's Jiangsu province, was established in 1997 and went public at Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2007 (stock code: 002156).
After years of development, mergers and acquisitions, it has grown into a semiconductor multinational corporation, and a domestic leader of integrated circuits (IC) packaging and testing, with total assets of over 26 billion yuan ($4.1 billion).
Headquartered in Chongchuan district, Tongfu Microelectronics has six production bases in Nantong and Suzhou of Jiangsu province, Hefei in East China's Anhui province, Xiamen in East China's Fujian province, and Penang in Malaysia.
Specializing in IC packaging and testing, it has its products widely used in the fields of personal computers, cloud computing, big data, intelligent terminal, the internet of things, artificial intelligence and electric vehicle.
It is one of China's top 100 electronic information enterprises, a national key high-tech enterprise, and vice chairman unit of China Semiconductor Industry Association.
