Bountiful grape harvest boosts employment for CCEDZ disabled
Now is a special time for the locals, as succulent grapes in a plantation founded for the disabled in Qinglongqiao community – administered by the Chongchuan Economic Development Zone, or CCEDZ in Chongchuan district, Nantong, in East China's Jiangsu province – are in harvest season. Set up in 2012, the plantation provides work opportunities for those disabled locals who can work and who want to be more prosperous. More than 20 residents work near home, each bringing in an annual income of over 20,000 yuan ($3,097). [Photo/ntfabu.com]
