Talent emerges at cyberspace security contest

A competition opened in Chongchuan district, Nantong, East China's Jiangsu province, on June 19 to scout for people with advanced industrial cybersecurity skills.
The competition, now in its second year, attracted 53 teams from around the country. In addition to representatives of related companies and classified cybersecurity protection agencies, university and college students also participated in the event.
Contestants were required to perform specified tasks within an allotted time, demonstrating their abilities in security testing, evaluation, and operation and maintenance of internet networks, related equipment, platforms, applications, data, and more.
Eversec (Beijing) Technology earned the top award, while the second and third-place prizes went to Shandong and Suzhou companies.
The competition was sponsored by the Nantong government and the Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security. More than 50 cybercommunications experts participated in the event, as did 155 company representatives and winners of the first competition.
