Maipu Science Park

Located east of Chongchuan Economic Development Zone, Maipu Science Park covers 350,000 square meters, including 34,000 sq m underground, with floor area ratio at 1.5 percent.
Maipu Science Park is being constricted in two phases and the first phase of 150,000 square meters with 11 single units is now in use.
The main industries in the first phase are high-end medical equipment, biotechnology and information technology (IT) which will focus on research and development (R&D) of intelligent manufacturing, health equipment, internet of things, communication equipment, and test and detection industries.
So far, over 30 enterprises have settled in Maipu Science Park, such as Sinopharm Medical Engineering, Nantong Medical Engineering Technology Co Ltd and the Nantong Technology Transfer Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University Biomedical Engineering School.
The second phase will cover a construction area of about 175,000 sq m.
The park is designed as a comprehensive park integrating scientific research, transformation, manufacturing, exhibitions, production, education and R&D of high-end medical equipment, biotechnology, intelligent manufacturing and information technology industries.
