Yao Mu, a textile material scientist and educator, is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, professor, and doctoral supervisor. He has long been engaged in the research and teaching of textile materials and has explored a new research area of human body wear comfort. He has developed a variety of textile equipment and drafted many national and military standards.
