As one of China's top 10 ports and the best deep-water port on the Yangtze River, Nantong Port is an important part of Shanghai International Shipping Center. The main port area, Langshan Container Terminal is located alongside the golden river line in Chongchuan Economic Development Zone.
The port has opened navigation lines to more than 300 seaports in over 100 countries and regions.
