Chongchuan's greenways offer early autumn views
Early autumn has settled over Chongchuan district in Nantong, where four waterside greenways each offer their own scenery for runners, cyclists and walkers.
Wushan Riverside Greenway
Where the Yangtze River meets the Wushan Mountain, joggers feel a river breeze carrying moisture and hints of passing boats. Along the path, fields of sunflowers are in full bloom, their gold spreading like sunlight across the land.

Haohe River Greenway
The roughly 18-kilometer path along the Haohe River now forms a continuous loop. With still water on one side and the old city life on the other, runners pass cultural sites and museums along the way.

Tonglyu Canal Greenway
In early autumn, pampas grass on Fenshui Island sways by the water; in late autumn, ginkgo leaves will turn the path gold. The route also features recreational facilities, including play areas and sports courts.

Haigang Yinhe Greenway
It is home to what is described as Nantong's first smart running trail, along with exercise equipment, rest areas and streetlights that make evening runs safer.
