A high-end equipment manufacturer in Tongzhou district, Nantong, is making its mark on the global stage, with nearly 65 percent of its wind power business now derivingcomingfrom overseas markets.

Nantong Yundom Precision Technology, known as Nantong Yundom, has grown into a high-end equipment metal component systems provider with three major business segments: offshore engineering, wind power and semiconductors.

In 2017, the company began expanding into overseas markets while venturing into the marine equipment sector. Since then, the company has worked to develop its Nantong headquarters into a high-end precision metal structure research, development and manufacturing base with world-class capabilities. Its products are now exported to more than 30 countries and regions.

While accelerating the development of its offshore engineering business and maintaining steady growth in wind power, Yundom is also expanding into the semiconductor sector.

“After two years of development, our precision components for semiconductor equipment have entered the supply chains of leading industry players, including AMEC and CETC,” saidchairman Cheng Jianxin,the company’s chairmansaid. “We aim to generate more than 100 million yuan ($14.93 million) in sales from this business segment in 2027.”

In 2025, Yundom was named among the first batch of advanced-level smart factories in Jiangsu province. It andwas also recognized as a national-level specialized and sophisticated enterprise.
