The model, jointly built by Jiangsu Zhongye Information Technology and the Advanced Ocean Institute of Southeast University Nantong, is a large model trained on massive datasets to handle text, images, video, code, and other content. It is tailored to the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry.
The model's first-phase core modules are now complete and operational. The company plans to embed the system into its design workflows, where it will handle regulatory Q&A, drawing analysis, document generation, and compliance checks, helping ship designers and manufacturers work more efficiently.
