Launched in 2006 in the Tongzhou district of Nantong, the "China in Children's Voices" initiative was created to collect nursery rhymes. Over the years, it has evolved into a national brand for youth aesthetic education.
The event commenced with a congratulatory message from Gu Xiulian, chairperson of the China National Committee for the Wellbeing of the Next Generation.
Gu praised the brand for nurturing generations of children with diverse and exquisite works. She also encouraged the initiative to embrace innovation and produce more high-quality content tailored for the younger generation.
The performance began with a blend of emotional musical poetry, dance, and classic nursery rhymes.
Several representatives who start their personal journeys with the initiative were invited on stage to share their growth stories.
Renowned singer Liao Changyong later joined the Nantong "China in Children's Voices" Children's Choir to perform a song, blending his powerful vocals with their pure voices.
Children from across China and abroad connected through a "cloud choir", bridging geographical distances with their harmonious melodies.
The most touching moment came when the representatives presented flowers to the mentors who had guided them.
The celebration concluded with the theme song "China in Children's Voices", resonating with the audience deeply.
