Three fresh projects have landed at the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone, spanning heavy rigging, offshore engineering, and smart energy equipment, and injecting new momentum into the coastal industrial cluster.
The winch project, built by Junwei Steel Wire Rope, focuses on high-strength steel ropes and smart hoisting gear. The company formerly helped build China's first 3,000-metric-ton gantry crane. Once in operation, the project is expected to generate 150 million yuan ($22.07 million) in annual output.
The Shengtai Offshore Equipment Project focuses on offshore platforms, wind power gear, and large steel structures. It has worked on deep-sea fish farming cages, CNOOC oilfields, and offshore wind modules. Annual output is projected at 400 million yuan.
The Yunye'an Smart Energy Equipment Project is all about high-performance custom containers for data centers. The company possesses fire-resistance certifications by China Classification Society, Bureau Veritas, and Technische Überwachungs Vereine. The project expects 300 million yuan in annual output and 15 million yuan in taxes.
As a key player in Jiangsu's coastal drive for new quality productivity, Tongzhou Bay is fast becoming a go-to spot for top-tier projects, thanks to its deep-water port, transport advantages, and business environment. A local official said the zone will keep rolling out efficient services to help businesses grow and thrive.
