Nantong enterprises secure deals with green products at Canton Fair

All 61 participating enterprises from Nantong, Jiangsu province, reported overall stable transactions, emphasizing their focus on innovation and sustainability during the second phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair, commonly known as the Canton Fair.
The second phase, which took place in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, from April 23 to 27, was themed quality home life and covered key areas such as household products, gifts, decorations, building materials, furniture, and courtyard facilities.
These Nantong enterprises' green and low-carbon products were in line with global development trends. PTB Technical Sanitary Ware (Jiangsu) showcased its smart LED mirror series, which hold multiple international patents. This product attracted buyers from countries and regions such as Germany and France.
According to exhibition manager Wang Aiyun, the smart LED mirror features a detachable, portable battery with long-lasting energy-saving capabilities, making it popular in European and American markets.
In addition, Nantong Ofisolution New Material presented biodegradable recycled plastic products, while Nantong Josson New Material Technology introduced low-carbon, eco-friendly building panels characterized by low thermal conductivity and easy installation. These products received a warm reception from buyers, significantly enhancing the companies' bargaining power.
In terms of buyer origins, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, the EU, South America, and Africa ranked among the top five regions, contributing to a more diversified market landscape. Data indicate that transactions with traditional European and American markets decreased by 15.5 percent, while collaboration with countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative increased by 14.9 percent. Transactions with emerging markets in South America, Africa and Central Asia rose by 29.8 percent.
