The 139th China Import and Export Fair, better known as the Canton Fair, is taking place in Guangzhou from April 15 to May 5, running in three phases.

A total of 31 companies from Qidong, a county-level city of Nantong, attended the fair's first phase that concluded on April 20, with 59 booths; four companies with seven booths are participating in the second phase; and 13 companies with 16 booths will take part in the third phase.

Altogether, the 48 companies are aiming to expand their presence in both domestic and international markets while proving the value of Qidong's smart manufacturing to buyers from around the world.

Their products spanned 18 categories, including home appliances, electronics, industrial machinery, new energy, tools, lighting, garden supplies, furniture, household items, toys, food, bags, and textiles.

Over the years, Qidong's foreign trade companies have used the Canton Fair to expand their market reach and secure orders. At this year's fair, Qidong companies brought out their best with new products, new materials, and new techniques, and their efforts have paid off as they won over global buyers.
