The springtime flower boats on Haohe River in Nantong, Jiangsu province, officially set sail on March 8, providing an innovative experience for both locals and tourists, while enhancing the region's cultural tourism offerings.
This initiative marks the inaugural launch of flower boats on the Haohe River, launched specifically to highlight the spring season as part of Nantong's cultural attractions.
The boats are outfitted with a variety of spring flowers, such as roses and lilies, mainly in red and orange hues. This floral decor not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of the vessels but also creates a visually captivating environment that immerses passengers in a vibrant spring landscape.
A standout feature of this experience is the gift of a fresh lily to each visitor upon boarding, further enriching the sensory experience. The interiors of the boats are also decorated with floral arrangements centered on lily motifs, infusing the cabin with the fresh fragrance of spring.
These limited-edition flower boat tours are set to operate until the end of April, with a single departure scheduled for 8:15 pm, accommodating up to 28 visitors per trip. Ticket prices are 108 yuan ($15.71) for adults and 69 yuan for children. Tickets are available for purchase at the Haohe River ticket office or by making reservations online by searching "Haohe River Night Painting" on e-commerce platform Douyin.
Additional daytime flower boat tours will be introduced in due course, allowing visitors not only to indulge in the dazzling lights of the "Haohe River Night Painting" but also to enjoy the leisurely charm of flower boats gliding through the waves under the warm spring sun.
