Haimen's consumer market thrives during Spring Festival holiday
During the Spring Festival holiday, the consumer market in Haimen surged with vitality, as diverse sectors such as dining, retail, automobiles, and cinema experienced sustained popularity.

Urban commercial districts such as Longxin Plaza and Dayoujing launched unique Chinese New Year markets and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, leading to an overall increase in mall foot traffic of more than 10 percent over last year.
With the popularity of these commercial districts, the district's dining industry's revenue rose by 13 percent year-on-year, with Dayoujing's dining sector recording a single-day peak of 1.2 million yuan ($174,974.49) in sales.
The automobile sector showed a remarkable performance, with growing interest at Sanhe Auto Plaza's Volkswagen and BYD showrooms. New energy vehicles were highly favored, leading to a surge of more than 20 percent in orders at BYD showrooms.
Cultural consumption was equally vibrant. From Feb 15 to 23, the total box office across cinemas in the district reached 5.91 million yuan, attracting over 110,000 viewers with an average seat occupancy rate of over 50 percent.
