As 2026 marks the start of China's 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) period, Bencha town in Rudong, Jiangsu province, is gearing up to create a new prosperous future.

The upgraded industrial quality has laid a solid foundation for future development. As a prime example, Jiangsu Rushi Machinery seized the opportunity presented by the recovery of the industrial boiler market in 2014, investing 100 million yuan ($14.58 million) in the expansion project of new A-class boiler parts, which expanded the special equipment business volume and added 10 million yuan in processing fees for the company, according to chairman Liu Zhigang.

In recent years, the town has provided early assistance and agency services to meet the needs of enterprises and has regularly conducted enterprise visits to help local enterprises accelerate their development.

At present, the future energy technology park project in the town is advancing at full speed. The 500-million-yuan project broke ground in August 2025 and will focus on manufacturing and service projects, including photovoltaic inverters and intelligent agricultural equipment.

It is expected that by the end of 2026, more than 15 enterprises will have settled in the park, with an annual output value exceeding 500 million yuan.
