Founded in 2017, Jiangsu Semicon Champion Microelectronics has spent nearly a decade specializing in power protection devices — key components that serve as the safety shield for electronic equipment.

The company's product portfolio covers a full range of power protection devices widely used in critical sectors such as automotive, new energy, telecommunications, medical equipment, and industrial control. Semicon Champion provides end-to-end solutions spanning chip design, packaging, and testing.

Supported by stringent quality control and advanced manufacturing technologies, the comprehensive yield rate of its chips' electrical performance has consistently exceeded 99 percent.

"The company's rapid growth has been driven not only by our deep focus on high-growth sectors such as new energy vehicles, but also by continuous equipment upgrades and capacity expansion," said Li Shen, general manager of the company.

Since commencing production in 2020, the company has invested more than 10 percent of its annual revenue in equipment renewal and technology research and development, strengthening an increasingly intelligent manufacturing system.

In 2025, more than 10 million yuan ($1.44 million) was invested in new equipment and workshop optimization. The introduction of a fully automated photolithography machine marked a key breakthrough. The new equipment has accelerated product upgrades, enabling improved performance and miniaturization and allowing the company to enter supply chains for high-end smartphones and other precision electronic devices.

Li announced that the upcoming equipment upgrades will prioritize higher precision and efficiency, anticipated to boost revenue by 15 percent. The company is also actively venturing into emerging sectors like AI servers and 800V HVDC data centers, broadening its business scope and maintaining momentum for additional investments and capacity growth.
