At a conference on Tongzhou's autonomous driving achievements, it was announced that Level 4 unmanned intelligent logistics vehicles from Nantong Yunshang Zhaojiafang E-commerce in Tongzhou district had accumulated over 1 million kilometers of driving mileage within the Nantong Home Textile Industrial Belt.

Nantong is China's largest trade hub for home textiles, with an industrial cluster of thousands of enterprises and an annual output of over 1.2 billion items. In the long term, the city's traditional logistics solutions were inefficient and resulted in significant losses. To address this problem, Zhaojiafang began deploying unmanned vehicles in March 2025.

According to CEO Wan Dayin, 264 unmanned vehicles are now in operation. The company has 3,066 routes totaling 17,600 km and 3,485 service spots, serving over 260 home textile factories and 380 e-commerce firms.

The vehicles have cut delivery time by over 3 hours. The daily mileage now exceeds 18,000 km. Each vehicle makes 7.9 deliveries and transports over 100,000 home textile items per day.

On the day of the conference, the Zhaojiafang Xinghuan Hub, China's first hub designed for the simultaneous operation of over 300 unmanned vehicles, was put into use. Using an innovative model that combines automated guided vehicles and Zhaojiafang's unmanned vehicles, it can handle 200,000 home textile items daily.

Shengqiu Home Textile in Chuanjiang town has been cooperating with Zhaojiafang since last year. Using unmanned logistics vehicles and the Xinghuan Hub saves each merchant at least 200,000 yuan ($28,853.46) per year.
