A rural concert turned Shigang town, Tongzhou district, into a pastoral retreat on Nov 23, combining music, cuisine, cultural creativity, and natural experiences.

Against backdrop of idyllic countryside, band performers delivered Chinese pop hits. With the familiar melodies wafting above the lawn, audiences either sat on the grass or stood along the field ridges, temporarily escaping urban chaos.

The event also featured a bustling bazaar. Nearly 30 distinctive stalls were arranged in a row, offering local agricultural products, traditional handicrafts, cultural creations and specialty delicacies.

Children explored vegetable plots and lush fields as they engaged in educational games and experienced the joy and simplicity of farming culture.

The event site also included special activities such as a tea gathering, art exhibition, and storytelling session, creating a multifaceted cultural experience.
