The Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu recently announced the list of ‌Jiangsu Green Factories for 2025‌, with four companies from Haimen making the cut — a record high in recent years. 

The four enterprises are Zhongtian Iron and Steel (Nantong) Co, Shanghai Electric Group Hengxi Photovoltaic Technology (Nantong) Co, Jiangsu Tongguang Qiangneng Power Line Technology Co, and Jiangsu Guokong Power Equipment Co. They were acknowledged for their excellence in green production management, energy-saving and emission-reduction improvements, and innovation in clean energy technology. ‌ 

In recent years, Haimon has consistently focused on ‌green development‌ as a key element for high-quality growth, coordinating efforts to ‌reduce carbon emissions, cut pollution, expand green initiatives, and promote economic progress. 

To date, Haimen has cultivated a total of 11 provincial green factories, four national green factories, four provincial green development leading enterprises, and one provincial pilot enterprise for carbon peaking and neutrality, marking significant achievements in the development of its green manufacturing system.  ‌
