Nantong's osmanthus flowers have entered their peak bloom. Around Oct 29, some early-blooming varieties are expected to begin their first flowering, with scattered flowers emitting a gently sweet scent.

The warm daytime and cool nighttime temperatures of early November will be especially advantageous for the swelling of osmanthus buds and the buildup of aromatic oils.

From Nov 3, the city will reach the peak of osmanthus blossom season. During this period, most golden and silver osmanthus will bloom simultaneously, showcasing vibrant colors and releasing their strongest fragrance. This is the ideal time for viewing.

Residents and tourists can organize osmanthus-viewing activities at popular spots like Tangzha Park, Langshan Mountain Scenic Area, Nantong Museum, Junshan Mountain, Seyuan Garden, Guihua Island (Osmanthus Island), Cao Ding Memorial Park, and Haohe River Scenic Area.
