The nomination list for the 21st Chinese American Film Festival's Golden Angel Award was recently announced, with the film We Are Together, co-produced by Nantong Radio and Television Station and Qinghai's Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Media Center, earning a spot on the list.

The film is based on the true story of medical aid workers traveling from Nantong to Qinghai and was entirely filmed in Nantong.

Using dual narratives — one set in the Jianghai Plain along the Yangtze River delta, including Nantong and nearby areas, and the other on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau — it highlights the humble yet resilient spirit of the Nantong people in providing help.

As a significant platform for cultural exchange between China and the United States, this year's festival is themed "Boundless Light and Shadow, Shared Future".

The nomination both affirms the strength of Nantong's local film industry and provides international audiences with an insight into Nantong's spirit. As China's representative in the competition, the film will also foster cultural exchange.
