The Haohe River Night Painting, a new night tour project at Haohe River Scenic Area in Nantong, Jiangsu province, will debut during the upcoming National Day holiday starting on Oct 1.

The new night tour option, themed "Millennium Haohe River, Century-long Harmony", integrates technology, culture, and performance.

Haohe River Night Painting is carefully laid out along the scenic Haohe River cruise route. This artistic and historical showcase covers four major areas: Haoxi Academy and Bonsai Garden, Central Park and South Park, Nantong Museum and Nantong Eminent Figures Museum, and Haodong Green Space and the City God Temple.

Through the innovative integration of contemporary lighting and shadow technology with live, on-site performances, this initiative vividly delineates a vibrant cultural and entertainment corridor along the Haohe River. This scenic belt is designed to enchant visitors both during the day and at night, fully showcasing the river's historical significance and cultural vitality.

Currently, the project is in the final testing and validation phase, with comprehensive joint testing scheduled to commence on Sept 23. The team anticipates that all necessary conditions for the inaugural performance will be satisfied by Sept 30. Following the successful completion of these preliminary stages, the project is planned to be officially unveiled to the public during the National Day holiday.
