The upcoming round of the Jiangsu Football City League will take place at the newly renovated Nantong Sports Convention and Exhibition Center, also known as Southern Bird's Nest, in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Aug 31.

The Nantong Sports Convention and Exhibition Center is China's first stadium with a massive retractable roof, originally opened in 2006 with a capacity of 30,000 spectators. With an additional 3,700 seats, the stadium can now accommodate about 35,000 people.

The 2,200-metric-ton steel roof, resembling a giant bird spreading its wings, can close in just 40 minutes. On sunny days, the open stadium is bathed in sunlight and cheers.

The renovated Southern Bird's Nest offers a dedicated space for every passionate soccer fan. Here, you'll stand shoulder to shoulder with thousands of fans, as the roar of support lifts the roof, turning the home crowd into Team Nantong's greatest strength.

But the allure of this venue extends beyond football. It is the premier site for national events in Nantong and has hosted over 500 events. The soaring arcs of basketball shots, the nimble spins of table tennis, and the intense plays of football have all become iconic moments here.
