Nantong home textiles were spotlighted at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, from July 8 to 17 as the world's first excellent case for copyright protection.

The Nantong home textiles exhibition was part of an exhibition co-hosted by the National Copyright Administration of China, the Permanent Mission of China in Geneva, and WIPO.

This exhibition focused on presenting the achievements of China's copyright undertakings. Leveraging Nantong's "rapid rights protection, intelligent defense, and value activation" copyright protection system, representatives of the city's home textile industry showcased its textile craftsmanship and shared its copyright stories with the world.

In recent years, Nantong has deeply integrated copyright protection into the development of the home textile industry, establishing a distinctive copyright service system.

The city has developed the country's first online platform for home textile copyright, set up a mobile intellectual property court for the home textile market, created a pattern database and plagiarism detection system, and formed a cluster of design talents centered around the Nantong home textile market. It incubates over 100 pattern designers annually, gathers more than 600,000 types of pattern data, and exports an average of 120,000 original patterns per year.
