ComNav Technology signed an agreement with the Hai'an High-Tech Zone on July 9 to launch a smart agriculture and unmanned farm project. The project will focus on building a high-standard R&D center for intelligent equipment and a demonstration base for smart agriculture.
ComNav, a leader in high-precision Beidou/GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology, has reached internationally advanced standards in fields such as high-precision algorithms, dedicated chips, and core modules and achieved large-scale commercial applications.
In recent years, the company has actively supported sectors such as surveying and mapping, intelligent transportation, precision agriculture, and drone navigation. Its smart agriculture solutions have made unmanned farms, intelligent agricultural machinery, and precision irrigation systems possible.
The new project in Hai'an aims to deeply integrate Beidou high-precision positioning technology with agricultural applications, with the goal of creating a national leading demonstration site for unmanned farms.
Wang Yongquan, chairman of the company, highlighted Hai'an's solid agricultural foundation and long-term development potential as key reasons for choosing the site. He also noted Hai'an's strategic location and strong innovation environment as ideal for project growth. Wang emphasized that ComNav is ready to deepen its presence in Hai'an and gradually expand into other sectors.
