Three projects in Tongzhou district have secured over 20 million yuan ($2.78 million) in provincial special funds for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in Jiangsu province, accounting for 33.53 percent of the total funding allocated to Nantong.

The number of selected projects and the amount of funding topped the city.

The projects include Nantong Haixing Electronics Co's groundbreaking project focused on the development of high-performance electrode foil for electric vehicle charging piles; Nantong Jianghai Capacitor Co's research and development project aimed at producing high-reliability aluminum electrolytic capacitors designed for new energy vehicles and renewable energy applications; AlphaESS's intelligent technical transformation project to enhance the production and warehousing processes of energy storage systems.

These projects exemplify Tongzhou's strong focus on developing new quality productive forces and its latest accomplishments contributed by scientific and technological innovation.
