A special exhibition themed around Emperor Kangxi opened at the Hai'an Museum in Hai'an, Nantong on May 18. The exhibit marks the first collaboration between Art Exhibitions China and a county-level museum, offering a panoramic view of one of China's most legendary emperors.
More than 60 artifacts from seven major cultural institutions — including the Palace Museum in Beijing, Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum, Chengde Mountain Resort Museum, Shandong Museum, Beijing Planetarium, and the Grand Canal Museum of China — are on display. The exhibition has drawn large crowds of visitors.
The Kangxi-themed exhibition represents a meaningful step toward strengthening inter-museum collaboration and fostering cultural exchange. The partnership with Art Exhibitions China not only reflects recognition of Hai'an's cultural achievements but also injects fresh momentum into the city's cultural and tourism sectors.
In recent years, Hai'an has made significant strides in cultural development, establishing notable landmarks such as the Hai'an Museum, Qingdun Site Museum, and Tie-Dye Museum.
