The Tourism and Transportation Committee of the China Highway & Transportation Society recently announced the selection results for the 2025 Beautiful Roads, with Qidong's Zuixian Road and Haimen district's Sande Road (X313) in Nantong making it to the list.

The Zuixian Road in Qidong is an 18-kilometer cultural and tourism project created for the first time in China by Chinese National Geography magazine. This project covers the entire city, with its principal section extending from the Yuantuojiao Fishermen's Wharf Block in the west to the Golden Beach Scenic Area in the north.

Through an amalgamation of cultural elements, artistic creativity, architectural design, and various other forms of expression, Zuixian Road has established itself as a distinctive cultural boulevard. This initiative highlights the rich culture of the Yangtze River and integrates sightseeing, leisure, and sports activities, exuding a unique charm and character that enhances the overall appeal of the area.

The Sande Road (X313) in Haimen is 32.25 kilometers long and passes through Sanxing, Changle, and Yuelai towns, serving as a transportation artery linking the central region of Haimen to Qidong. This route not only connects with rural roads such as Guangongdao and Zhongyi roads, but also links attractions such as the Zhang Jian Memorial Hall, Yisheng Cultural Park, Jiulong Island Cultural Wetland, and Liuxiban Streets.
