NHIZ hosts low-altitude economy industrial ecosystem collaboration event
The Industrial Innovation and Investment Working Committee of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics visited the Nantong National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (NHIZ) on May 15 to explore the cooperative development of the low-altitude economy industrial ecosystem.
Aligning with global trends in aerospace innovation, NHIZ has prioritized four future-oriented sectors: low-altitude economy, commercial aerospace, artificial intelligence, and new materials.
The zone leverages the Huawei Nantong Digital Economy Collaborative Innovation Base to establish five major platforms, including advanced digital infrastructure, driving deep integration of computing power, technology, and application scenarios.
Additionally, NHIZ introduced Feilinke New Materials (Nantong) Co and fostered cooperation with Shanghai Nalinwei Group, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC), to advance R&D and manufacturing of functional aviation films for domestic large aircraft.
After their visit, the committee conveyed its recognition of NHIZ's industrial ecosystem and innovation capabilities. They said their commitment to bolstering local enterprises and accelerating industrial growth through collaborative initiatives, which may include hosting aviation innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup camps.
