Chongchuan launches cycling event encircling Haohe River
The second Haohe River Cycling Event kicked off at Haohe Tourist Center on the afternoon of May 4, with over 200 cycling enthusiasts from nationwide embarking on an 8-kilometer urban adventure along the green cycling belt encircling the Haohe River.
The Haohe Visitor Center served as both the start and end point of the route, which connected 10 cultural tourism landmarks including Guihua Island, Liuyedu, Yiyuan Garden, Wenfeng Park, Bonsai Garden, and Haoxi Academy. It was an excellent chance for participants to fully immerse themselves in the city's cultural heritage and natural scenery.
Cyclists included both spirited young riders and families, who raced along the route in a cheerful and lively procession.
To add some extra fun, organizers incorporated interactive fitness challenges and photo check-in stamp collection activities. Participants who completed the ride and collected stamps became eligible for on-site prize draws and redemptions.
Comprehensive safety measures were also implemented, with medical personnel stationed throughout the venue and professional cyclists accompanying riders for added security.
