Chongchuan sets sail into intelligent shipbuilding project
The ship intelligent equipment R&D and production project invested by Hong Kong-based Daike Shipbuilding was signed and settled in Chongchuan on April 12, enhancing the shipbuilding capability of the district.
Daike Shipbuilding is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the services of intelligent ship equipment. The company's products are widely applied in deck operations for global vessels, including remote monitoring and prediction systems and cargo upgrade service systems.
With a total investment of $30 million, the project will focus on the R&D, manufacturing, and technical services of intelligent ship equipment. Covering an area of 22.5 mu (1.5 hectares), it is expected to generate annual sales exceeding 300 million yuan ($40.96 million) after completion.
The investment promotion team in Chongchuan exhibited a prompt response and precise alignment of foreign investment services, facilitating the implementation of the project. This project is anticipated to strengthen the regional shipbuilding and marine engineering industry, further advancing the development of the marine economy.
