On March 4, the signing ceremony for the Zhongsutong (Hai'an) Plastic Industry Development Center was held. Leveraging Hai'an's strategic transport hub and industrial park advantages, the center will serve as a national distribution and international trade hub for plastic raw materials.

The first phase is expected to generate an additional annual trade volume of 2 billion yuan ($275.94 million) and a foreign trade value of $10 million. 

Zhongsutong, a well-known plastic industry operator in China, was founded in 2013. The company has established a nationwide presence with smart warehousing facilities in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong. Its fleet of 500 transport vehicles provides comprehensive services to over 1,000 clients, covering general-purpose plastics, modified plastics, and engineering plastics.
