2025 "Hai'an Day" university tour kicks off at Nanjing Normal University

On Feb 28, Nanjing Normal University was the first stop of the 2025 "Hai'an Day" university tour, which featured collaboration agreements on talent cultivation and technology transfer.
During the event, the College of Teacher Education and Hai'an Education and Sports Bureau reached an agreement on a dual-track teacher training program. The School of Food Science and Pharmaceutical Engineering partnered with Jiangsu Tiancheng Technology Group and Jiangsu Jinzhou Grain & Oil Food on DHA food applications. The School of Chemistry and Materials Science established cooperation with Jiangsu Hai'an Petrochemical Plant and Jiangsu Zengguang New Materials Technology on new material projects. Additionally, the School of Electrical and Automation Engineering teamed up with Jiangsu Yawei Transformer on key projects for new power systems.
At the industry-university-research cooperation matchmaking session, several NNU scientific achievements were presented, sparking in-depth discussions between Hai'an's tech-driven enterprises and university experts. A campus job fair and cultural market also took place, offering recruitment opportunities, policy consultations, and showcasing Hai'an's unique cultural heritage, performances, and local delicacies.
Yuan Linwang, vice-president of NNU, emphasized the event's importance in aligning Hai'an's talent needs with NNU's training goals, expressing hope for more outstanding students from Hai'an to enroll at NNU and contribute to Hai'an's development.
Hai'an has a strong relationship with NNU, with Hai'an High School and Qutang High School designated as "high-quality student bases" for NNU. Many NNU graduates have become key figures in Hai'an's industries.
In 2024, Hai'an actively conducted initiatives like "Hai'an Day at Universities" and "Hai'an Visits Higher Institutions", attracting 47 talent projects, 19 national-level experts, and 13 provincial-level innovative and entrepreneurial talents.
