The Magnolia Tree Citizen Gardening Center, located in Chongchuan district, Nantong, opened its doors on Dec 29, drawing many plant enthusiasts in the district.

The center offers a variety of gardening services. These include gardening education, consultation, and product sales. Additionally, visitors can enjoy convenient services such as free drinking water and access to books.

"Each plant has a tag with its name and tips on how to care for it, which is really educational and helpful," said a nearby resident surnamed Fei. "With the Chinese New Year approaching, I can even buy a festive plant to bring home."

As the first citizen gardening center established by the city's housing and urban-rural development bureau in Nantong, the center aims to enhance public interest in gardening while providing a welcoming space for residents of the district.
