The Hai'an section of the China-Russia east-route high-pressure natural gas pipeline has entered trial operations, delivering over 200,000 cubic meters of natural gas daily. To date, the pipeline has supplied 36 million cubic meters of natural gas, marking a significant milestone in Hai'an's transition to clean energy.
Equipped with advanced sensing, control systems, and a developing digital twin network, the pipeline project represents a leap toward digitalized energy management. The distribution station in Nanmo town plays a critical role in routing Russian natural gas to end users through a precise pipeline system.
This development heralds a new era for Hai'an, breaking away from traditional energy dependence and embracing a greener, more efficient energy system. The steady supply of Russian natural gas promises to significantly improve residents' quality of life while energizing Hai'an's economic transformation and sustainable development.
The China-Russia east-route natural gas pipeline, stretching from Heihe, Heilongjiang, to Shanghai, is now fully operational. With an annual designed capacity of 38 billion cubic meters, it stands as the world's largest single-line long-distance natural gas pipeline.
