A traditional Chinese music concert took place at Haoyang Mansion, one of the former residences of Zhang Jian (1853-1926), in Nantong, Jiangsu province, on Oct 1, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

The event featured many inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, music artists, as well as local residents and tourists. Through the use of elegant ancient-style music, the event provided an immersive audio-visual experience and fostered a festive ambiance in celebration of the National Day holiday.

In the courtyard, traditional music solo and ensemble performances attracted a large number of visitors, combining modern interpretation methods with the audience's engagement. This helped people come into contact with and understand the musical elements of cultural heritage, increasing public attention to cultural heritage.

The Nantong municipal bureau of culture, radio, television, and tourism is committed to planning themed boutique routes of cultural relics and promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism.

During the National Day holiday, 14 out of the 31 museums in Nantong extended their opening hours to offer fine exhibitions and various cultural performances. This brought cultural relics to life and showcased the unique historical and cultural connotations of Nantong's Jianghai Culture.
